but now, I can see the AD1816a entry in my etc/modprobe.conf
but do I have to change the dma and irq settings to be compatible with
my machine. When I just tried to run ALSA setup, it did not find anything
under the first sound card entry (ad1816a), then went to the next card in the list.

I can see it in: home> .etc> modprobe.conf

Did you expand the home, first,
then click on the shortcut to .etc,
then click on modprobe.conf to see it?

I just did the above steps, but when I start ALSA setup, it still
shows as ALSA WIZARD ver 1.0.8 ... looks like I have to do
something else to force it to ver 1.0.12, huh?

I did the three ALSA downloads, but I don't know what to do or which/what to run? I ran the ALSA sound wizard, but it looks like
it is running what was already included in the distribution, huh?

i have qt-3.3.6 from dotpups, downloaded it for the Opera 9.02
install, I just noticed that the instructions stated qt-3.3.4, but I

I tried to install Opera 9.10, on puppy 2.10, following the procedure as stated, but it will not start up? I then downloaded Opera 9.02 as a standalone and it works good, but I am trying to get to the latest version. I had even tried copying the extracted 9.10 into the 9.02 folder, but that doesn't...

upgrade to seamonkey 1.0.7 ...



i am using puppy 2.10 w/ seamonkey 1.0.4 and i want to upgrade to seamonkey 1.0.7, does this same procedure work.

do i have to unzip it into the folder where the 1.0.4 is, first then unzip it or should i put it into the mozilla folder, since that is not being used in puppy 2.10, huh?

I know that this may not be the correct place to post this, but I have been searching and this is the closest that I found. I wnat to upgrade the included seamonkey 1.4 to the current seamonkey 1.7. I have it downloaded and saved, but how do i get it into the seamonkey folder, so that it works, huh_

I installed this yesterday on my puppy 2.10 and it works great.

I guess [that] I had the right libraries already on my system,
since I did not have to download or do anything else to get it to

I got the wine.9.0.21 installed and working, but now I am trying to figure out
how to install this new version. I downloaded it, but I am not sure where it is supposed to be, etc. I just put it in My Applications. for now. Any ideas, huh?
